Request Process for Clients With Legacy Integration

Complete these steps if you are migrating from legacy integration into Integration Via Unionpoint.

Warning: Before you request to migrate from legacy integration into Integration Via Unionpoint, you must first accomplish the pre-requisites for Talent Management Integration Via Unionpoint. If you have not completed the pre-requisites, stop here and follow the steps for Integration Via Unionpoint Request Process Pre-Requisites.

To migrate your existing legacy integration to Unionpoint:

  1. In Talent Management, log in as a Global Administrator.
  2. Submit a request to disable legacy integration and deactivate any Talent Management-Vantagepoint integration tasks on Collective by submitting a case via the Deltek Support Center, with the following details:

    Purpose 1: Disable Legacy Integration:Disable Talent-Vision Integration, or

    Disable Talent-Vantagepoint Integration

    Purpose 2: Deactivate Collective Integration Tasks:Disable Deltek-Vantagepoint Integration
    Integration Name:Deactivate the following Deltek Talent-Vision integration Collective Task
    • client_name Vision Users Import
    • client_name Vision Jobs Import
  3. Perform the following steps in Vantagepoint.
    1. Disable the Talent Management-Vantagepoint integration by logging in to the Vantagepoint site and navigating to Utilities > Integrations > Talent Management.
    2. Under Integration Setup, unselect Enable Talent Management Integration.
  4. In Talent Management, navigate to Administration > Global Settings > Administration > Features.
  5. In the Select a Group drop-down list field, select Implementation.
  6. Under Core, enable Integration Platform-as-a-Service.
  7. Make sure Use Webhooks is unselected.
    Important: This is a deprecated feature, and it will cause your integration to malfunction when it is removed in a future release.
  8. Click Update Features.
  9. As the screen refreshes, navigate back to Core > Integration Platform-as-a-Service, then select or unselect the events you would like to monitor. Please enable only the features you would like to monitor from the following options:
    • User Hired Event
    • User Terminated Event
    • User Updated Event
    • Onboarding Completed Event
  10. Click Update Features.
  11. Submit a request for a Talent Management authentication token to configure Unionpoint Integration by submitting a case via the Deltek Support Center that includes the following details:

    Purpose 1: Request for Authentication Token:Talent Management Authentication Token
    Purpose 2: Request for Integration:Unionpoint Integration
    Integration Name:Deltek Unionpoint Integration
    Important: You will need this authentication token to configure the settings in Unionpoint for integration with Talent Management.
